I am so happy to have taken the pottery class with Elizabeth Lawrence in Beecroft. She is such a patient, experienced teacher! I did mostly wheel work and Elizabeth gave me so many pointers. One of the things I want to improve about my ceramics skill is wheel work. I never did spend a lot of time on the wheel, and most of my works are handbuilt. So I created these pieces on the wheel. Two pots with lids. In the spare time before class ended, I spent the time creating these pears. I got a bit obsessed with creating pears, they are so fun to make! Perhaps one of my next major works should be about pears? :)
